Red Ribbon -The Wishing Shelf Book Awards

Some time last year I entered three of my books into The Wishing Shelf Book Awards thanks in part, to the encouragement of three lovely humans.

On March 1st I learned that If I Were Invisible … was a finalist in the pre-school picture book category. I find out if it’s won or not on April 1st.

Yesterday I found out Sandcastles, my short story collection, had been awarded a red ribbon being one point shy of being a finalist.

I am waiting to hear how Rainbow’s Red Book of Poetry got on but I will let you know when I find out.

There were some lovely comments about Sandcastles the one below being the summing up. You will see I have added my red ribbon to the cover. I need to update Amazon in the fullness of time.

I am grateful to The Wishing Shelf Book Gang and all who read and commented on my book. It’s always great to hear what readers think.
