Getting this book out in the world has been an experience and taken far longer than I envisaged when I started. I have learned a LOT about formatting!

Writing this book happened because I couldn’t write fiction or poetry and my brain demanded creative words. I’m not me if I don’t write. It’s been part of who I am since I was 11 years old - that’s a LONG time.

Reading non fiction always leads me back to reading fiction so I guess it makes sense that writing non fiction has the same effect. Poetry, short stories and picture books are on the way.

I hope that if you are ever in a writing slump or need a challenge or just want to try something new Rainbow’s Book of Prompts will work for you like it did for me.
