I wish that I could hold your hand,
show you that I understand,
people have been where you are right now.
I wish that you could see a way,
to know there'll be a better day
waiting for you somewhere up ahead.
I know that I can't heal your pain
and sometimes its hard to explain
the thoughts that fill your head from day to day.
I can tell you storms don't last,
I've survived them in the past
and if you hold on, I know you will too.
Do what it takes to get you through.
I hope someone is there for you.
Life is a hard journey on your own.
They say we always have a choice.
Sometimes it seems we have no voice
and no-one wants to listen anyway.
Please keep fighting, don't give in,
don't let those toxic people win,
believe me, you are better off alone.
You'll find the strength from somewhere deep
to stand and fight or make that leap.
You can do this, I have every faith in you.
