Back in 2024 I wrote three posts about my little writing journey and then disappeared for a bit. I did come back but I never finished the story, well as much as that’s possible, more of a bring you up to date thing really. As it’s been two years (rather than the week I said it would be) I will link the previous parts of the story at the bottom of the post.

Place a character at a crossroads and make the case for each choice. They can decide which way to go or you can leave it open.

I had the privilege of hosting the #7syllablesentence on BlueSky earlier this month. My chosen theme was New Year. I enjoy the challenge of writing my responses to the #7syllablesentence. It requires creative thinking to write something that includes the prompt word the host has selected so when the opportunity to host came up I was happy to volunteer.

Martin Luther King Jr was born on 15th January 1929. Monday 19th January is Martin Luther King Day. This months prompts and playlists newsletter has taken inspiration from these events. (with some artistic licence).
