A Taste of What's to Come

‘Timeless in their relevance to people and the world we live and love in. . . . Lily’s realistic, but positive world view shines.’

Time stands still

sometimes I wish it would,
in the moments of joy,
in the laughter,
in the sharing,
in the hugs.
yet it moves on,
endless, unceasing
I try to capture
the memories,
and hold onto them
forever.

'All in all: a well-deserved 5 stars! My only criticism? I could happily read more poems by Lily!'

Lilly Lawson has written a delightful eclectic mix of poems, and as with all poetry, you must read between the lines to truly understand the meaning, and Lily Lawson's work is no exception. They are beautifully written, and they draw you in as all good poetry should. I particularly liked 'Give me a World' which is so pertinent to today, that you find yourself saying '...if only...' Several of these poems really resonated with me, especially 'No Tears' They are all so relatable.
